Tohfa graduated from Everest Institute in Dearborn in 2006, which is also the year she started working at RelaxStation. She likes to incorporate various modalities into each massage session, including deep tissue, trigger point, and sports massage. She tries to give every client a massage that she would enjoy, while at the same time addressing their individual needs.
Derry obtained a Certificate and an Associate's degree in Massage Therapy from Baker College of Jackson in 2003 and 2004, respectively. He also obtained a B.S. in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University. Derry specializes in deep tissue, trigger point, neuromuscular therapy (NMT), and prenatal massage.
Derry currently practices at RelaxStation. He is here to make this world a better place using massage to relieve stress and see the joy on clients' faces. After receiving his first massage, he envisioned himself providing a needed service to the community and being known as a person who makes people feel better.
Stacie graduated in 2008 from Irene’s Myomassology Institute in Southfield. After graduation she assisted Irene’s students as a clinic supervisor and works out of a chiropractic office. Stacie specializes in deep tissue and Swedish massage, and is a Reiki Master. She has trained in many modalities (trigger point, sports, Shiatsu, Thai-Yurvedic and more) to help customize her massages to suit her client’s individual needs.
Chrissy's passion is in the healing arts! She studied massage therapy in 2004 at Irene's Myomassology Institute in Southfield, Mi. She finds massage to be powerful healing practice to bring service to the community. She incorporates an intuitive touch into her techniques of swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, and MFR. She has studied a variety of energy medicine modalities and is a Reiki Master. Chrissy believes she is on a mission to massage the world into relaxation one client at a time.
Allen is a L.M.T. graduate of Irene’s Myomassology Institute in Southfield, Michigan. He is a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. Allen has been a experienced Licensed Massage Therapist for over 14 years. He specializes in Deep Tissue and Sports Massage. He has been educated in other modalities with a unique blended style. Allen has practiced with area businesses and the United States Taekwondo Olympic team in 2008. Allen’s mission is to support individuals in achieving life balance through personal wellness. A firm believer in the inseparable connection with between mind and body, Allen is a proponent of massage for relieving physical as well as emotional stress, and strongly believes in massage as a viable modality for enhancing overall health and well-being.
Ginger is certified in Myo Fascial Release and Neuromuscular Therapy which she uses as a foundational guide to her deep and specific massage work. Ginger specializes in working out sore, tired hands and forearms, tight shoulders and necks, jaws and facial muscles. She works deeply and specifically to release the sore points and congestion you didn't even knew you had. You will feel rebuilt when you get off the table.
Necks, pects and full body relaxation are also in her vocabulary. Ginger received her massage training from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy, graduating in September of 2014.
Gloria graduated from Irene’s Myomassology Institute in 2011. She specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Trigger Point and Seated Massage. She customizes her massage to address each client’s needs.
Lori Graduated from Irene’s Myomassology Institute in Southfield. She has training in Reiki, Shiatsu, Thai-yurvedic, Swedish, Sport and Prenatal techniques and massage for children. She loves her profession and is always advancing her training. Lori works with each client to deliver what they want and need.
Ashlyn graduated from the Douglas J. Aveda Institute Massage Therapy program in Ann Arbor. She is passionate about massage and the belief that massage can not only help to heal the body, but the mind as well.
Chanda graduated from Douglas J Aveda Institute in Ann Arbor. She is very passionate about the healing potential of massage therapy in regards to how it is a strong tool used to promote holistic well-being. She is a firm believer that Massage therapy not only eases tension and stress in the physical body but in the mind as well; allowing the mind, body, and spirit to come into balance, leaving the client feeling rejuvenated.
Jack is a graduate of the Adrian School of Massage with a particular interest in the healing powers of deep fascial manipulation. In addressing perpetual factors of discomfort, he engages clients to have a heightened awareness of the root cause of strain to bring the body back to homeostasis.
In February of 2017, Karen graduated from Irene’s Myomassology and became a Licensed Massage Therapist. She specializes in Swedish, and Deep Tissue massage, and is skilled in Prenatal massage as well. She loves to learn new things and is constantly looking for ways to continue her education. She is dedicated to the development of her techniques and ideas to create a healthy lifestyle for herself and others. Outside of the massage room, Karen enjoys snowboarding, hiking, traveling, and running with her two dogs.
Chris is a licensed massage therapist and certified personal trainer. He graduated from Altierus (formerly Everest Institute in 2018). His specialties are Deep Tissue and Sports Massage. He also is highly trained in Swedish, Tigger Point Therapy, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Hot Stone and Chair Massage. Chris enjoys helping people heal naturally through a holistic approach. He has first-hand seen the value of this in his own life, therefore Chris has a passion for teaching others what has been beneficial for him.
Carrie Young graduated from Health Enrichment Center in 1994 with a certification in Massage Therapy. with over 24 years experience, she has worked in physical therapy clinics, chiropractic offices and spa settings using a variety of massage techniques to suit each individual client’s needs. She specializes in trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage, concentrating on problem areas in order to bring the most relief.
