Nina graduated from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy in 2014. She specializes in relaxation, neuromuscular and myofascial therapies, with additional training in Swedish and sports massage and lymphatic drainage. She brings a warm, positive energy to her sessions and is deeply devoted to her clients' wellbeing.
Tremaine graduated from Everest Institute in Dearborn, Michigan. She specializes in Swedish and relaxation massage. Her modalities include deep tissue, myofascial release, sports massage, pregnancy massage, and trigger point therapy. She tries to address each client's individual needs so that the client leaves feeling better than when they came in. She also is a firm believer in natural and holistic remedies.
Having practiced massage therapy for over nine years, Shahidah has had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. From working in the airport to full-service day spas, she has become well-versed in Swedish, deep tissue, pre-natal and hot stone massage, as well as aromatherapy.
Tohfa graduated from Everest Institute in Dearborn in 2006, which is also the year she started working at RelaxStation. She likes to incorporate various modalities into each massage session, including deep tissue, trigger point, and sports massage. She tries to give every client a massage that she would enjoy, while at the same time addressing their individual needs.
Derry obtained a Certificate and an Associate's degree in Massage Therapy from Baker College of Jackson in 2003 and 2004, respectively. He also obtained a B.S. in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University. Derry specializes in deep tissue, trigger point, neuromuscular therapy (NMT), and prenatal massage.
Derry currently practices at RelaxStation. He is here to make this world a better place using massage to relieve stress and see the joy on clients' faces. After receiving his first massage, he envisioned himself providing a needed service to the community and being known as a person who makes people feel better.
Gerald graduated from Everest Institute in 2008. He is an energetic, motivated massage therapist who is highly organized and skilled at balancing the needs of clients in both personal and professional capacities.
His massage skills include Swedish massage, chair massage, deep tissue, sports massage, reflexology, and stone therapy, prenatal massage, and headache relief.
Jessica graduated from Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy, September 2014. She specializes in deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point and myofascial release. Her modalities include shiatsu, reflexology, sports massage, Thai, lymphatic drainage, prenatal, emotional release, relaxation, and aromatherapy.
Before working at RelaxStation, she spent six months working with body builders. As a catalyst, she offers a dynamic, functional, holistic, and healing approach that centers around healing the mind, body and spirit. Every session is specifically designed to each client with their needs and goals in mind.
Stacie graduated in 2008 from Irene’s Myomassology Institute in Southfield. After graduation she assisted Irene’s students as a clinic supervisor and works out of a chiropractic office. Stacie specializes in deep tissue and Swedish massage, and is a Reiki Master. She has trained in many modalities (trigger point, sports, Shiatsu, Thai-Yurvedic and more) to help customize her massages to suit her client’s individual needs.
Carrie attended Lansing Community College in 1989 with continued education at Baker College in 2004. She has 25+ years’ experience in deep tissue, Swedish, prenatal, chair, and sports massage. She was recently certified in Kinesiology Taping. Her goal is to educate and help heal her clients.
Jayson graduated from Flint School of Therapeutic Massage in 2002. Reflexology, hot stone massage, sports massage and Shiatsu are his favorite modalities. All massages are started at medium-deep pressure then increased to max-deep as muscles release. Massages are aimed to rehab muscles into a relaxed, cool state, increasing range of motion.
Chrissy's passion is in the healing arts! She studied massage therapy in 2004 at Irene's Myomassology Institute in Southfield, Mi. She finds massage to be powerful healing practice to bring service to the community. She incorporates an intuitive touch into her techniques of swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, and MFR. She has studied a variety of energy medicine modalities and is a Reiki Master. Chrissy believes she is on a mission to massage the world into relaxation one client at a time.
Allen is a L.M.T. graduate of Irene’s Myomassology Institute in Southfield, Michigan. He is a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. Allen has been a experienced Licensed Massage Therapist for over 14 years. He specializes in Deep Tissue and Sports Massage. He has been educated in other modalities with a unique blended style. Allen has practiced with area businesses and the United States Taekwondo Olympic team in 2008. Allen’s mission is to support individuals in achieving life balance through personal wellness. A firm believer in the inseparable connection with between mind and body, Allen is a proponent of massage for relieving physical as well as emotional stress, and strongly believes in massage as a viable modality for enhancing overall health and well-being.
Casey is a graduate of Baker College and has been a licensed massage therapist for 4 years. She thoroughly enjoys bringing the gift of relaxation, pain management, and healing touch to her clients and the Ann Arbor community. Her areas of interest/experience are: Swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, sports, prenatal, and pediatric massage.
Rich graduated from the Flint School of Massage Therapy in 2011 with training in Swedish, sports, deep tissue, reflexology and prenatal massage. In addition, he performs TMJ release and Integrated Neuromuscular Ischemic Technique (INIT).
Rich’s massage style is based on helping his clients feel comfortable so he can focus on applying therapeutic techniques. He is very effective with deep tissue work and helping to resolve specific issues. He can also be counted on to help a client who just wants to relax. He brings a positive energy to each session to build a level of trust with each individual so they can begin working towards their personal health goals.
Que graduated from Antonelli College. From there, she worked with all types of people by being mobile and working in different environments. Her goal is to Relax, Release, Relieve, as well as promote fitness and health. She has the ability to offer a variety of massage treatments. She specializes in chair massage, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, body stretching, and increase ROM. She’s highly energetic with a joyous spirit. She loves what she does, and she loves working with people.
Stephanie attended and received her massage certification from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy in 2012. Since, she has built her list of modalities to include: Therapeutic massage, deep tissue, myofascial, reflexology, Swedish, sports, hot stone and chair massage. She specializes in prenatal and postpartum massage as well. Stephanie uses her intuition along with skills to make sure each massage is carefully tailored to the clients specific needs.
Ginger is certified in Myo Fascial Release and Neuromuscular Therapy which she uses as a foundational guide to her deep and specific massage work. Ginger specializes in working out sore, tired hands and forearms, tight shoulders and necks, jaws and facial muscles. She works deeply and specifically to release the sore points and congestion you didn't even knew you had. You will feel rebuilt when you get off the table.
Necks, pects and full body relaxation are also in her vocabulary. Ginger received her massage training from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy, graduating in September of 2014.
